About the Artist
Ryhia Dank is the contemporary Aboriginal artist behind Nardurna. She uses colours from a range of palettes to reflect who she is. She is Gudanji/Wakaja and grew up in a remote community in the Northern Territory and now lives in modern Australia. “My painting is storywork. Gudanji/Wakaja people told stories through pattern and design and that is what I am doing.”
