We at Chai Tea have always aimed to reduce the waste in producing Chai, so we have decided to go stringless and tagless. We are producing the teabags here in Australia in our premises which is run solely on Solar Power.
We are using a material called “Neo Soilon’ which is made from 100% non-GMO sugar cane. We also use biodegradable cellophane to keep your teabags fresh inside the box.

Chai Tea™ is a 31 year old, wholly Australian owned company. Located deep in the forest, on a community/land sharing co-operative, we are completely “off the grid”. What this means is that not only is the Chai Tea Co. run exclusively on solar power, but so too are the homes of all the members of our team.
Chai Tea engages in Fair Trade, supporting the rights of workers and sustainable agriculture. The Organic Rainbow Chai Pyramid Teabags are our first product to be registered Fair Trade and we are working towards conversion for other products in our 10 beverage range. Fair Trade practices are very important to us, as is Organic farming.
